Away to Aries on a really nice sunny day and the pitch was immaculate. Blackheath playing their 38th game of the season didn't start very well on a huge pitch. Aries on top from the start taking control of the game from Blackheath's terrible passing. Blackheath's goal keeper and Man Of The Match Ed Sibley keeping them in the game with a hand full of superb saves. This went on for most of the first half, Blackheath desperately trying to get their game together but again poor passing let in Aries to go 1-0 up at half time. Second half Blackheath upping their game a little and creating a few good chances Micky Shorter and John Davidson should have done better with their strikes and Dave Gwinnell coming close with a shot from 20 yards hitting the up right. A well tempered game played by both teams rounded off a enjoyable afternoon where a draw would have been a fair result. Final score 1-0
